Proposed Distributions form

Proposed Distributions may not apply to your jurisdiction and therefore this form is optional.

This form is used for final accountings and allows you to allocate remaining assets to beneficiaries. The data entered on this form is used to prepare a Proposed Distributions to Beneficiaries report.

The form lists all assets remaining at the end of the current reporting period. Each line contains data about an asset. Identifying data, as indicated by the column headers, includes principal/income, name of asset, asset category, and an appropriate carrying value (dollars or units for securities).

Additional columns include one for each beneficiary distribution account that you created on the Beneficiary Distribution Form.

Beneficiary allocations are typed in the beneficiary columns identified by the beneficiary account name in the header.

The allocation base is found in the column labeled Fid Acq Val/Units. Dollar representation appears with two places after the decimal point. Unit representation (for securities) appears with four places after the decimal point.

Allocations are by amount and by percent. Amounts are represented by a number greater than or equal to 1.0 or less than or equal to zero. That is, 100.0 equals $100 and 100 units. Percents are represented by a number less than 1.0 and greater than zero. That is, 0.9 equals 90% and 0.15 equals 15%.

An allocation may consist of a combination of amounts and percentages.

Grey fields are disabled and red fields alert an error.
